Welcome  to

Lakes Region Show Series

We are here to have fun!

2010 welcomes another year for the Lakes Region Show Series.

We are a growing Equine club located in the heart of the Lakes Region.   Our 6 Pleasure shows and 6 Gymkhanas are held at the Belknap County 4-H Fairgrounds off Route 106 on Mile Hill Road in Belmont, New Hampshire.

The Lakes Region Show Series would like to thank all the members and sponsors for a great 2009 show season.  You are the ones that make the series a success.

Our 2009 Horse show series came to an end with a wonderfully warm banquet held in January at The Red Blazer in Concord.  Well over 100 people attended the annual event.  Ribbons, trophies & useable awards were received by members who participated in the shows and gymkhanas during the 2009 show season.

With the 2010 show season well on its way, we’ve been putting the final touches on the class lists and getting memberships in order.

As with 2009, we are keeping our fees at the same rates as last year.  We want our members to be able to afford to have fun and show their horses.   Our Double pointed shows proved to have many benefits, and we have brought them back again for the 2010 season.  New this year  are the Open Champion classes – in both Equitation and Pleasure.

We welcomed back the Mini Horses, who joined our series in 2009 & have increased our class list to include Mini Halter, color classes, Mini Pleasure Driving as well as a Mini Horse Trail in hand class for the younger members.

Due to the decrease in gymkhana participation, we will be running a set of core classes at the single pointed pleasure shows and an extended list at the Fair and the Fall Fuzzy dates.

Spectators are always welcomed to come watch our Equine events, bring a lawn chair, bring the kids and join us for a day of FREE entertainment.  We are there rain or shine!
