2011 welcomes another year for the Lakes Region Show Series

 

Our 2010 Horse show series came to an end with a wonderful banquet.  The annual event was held in February at The Red Blazer in Concord, with over 100 people attending.  Ribbons, trophies & useable awards were received by members who participated in the shows and gymkhanas during the 2010 show season.

 

With the 2011 show season well on its way, we’ve been putting the final touches on the class lists and getting memberships in order. 

 

Once again, we are keeping all our fees at the same rates as the past few years.  We want our members to be able to afford to have fun and show their horses.  Our Double pointed shows prove to have many benefits, and we have brought them back again for this season.  

 

This year we are splitting the Senior/Adult Walk Trot classes – Western & English, bringing back Cross Rails and will again offer the Open Equitation and Pleasure Champion classes. 

 

We will also be running the Trail classes in the lower ring under a separate judge – please plan on completing your trail course between 11AM and 2PM.

 

 For those who ride both Western and then English, your Showmanship and trail points count towards both divisions for day end.  

 

For those who enjoy gymkhana, we are offering 3 Double run days with  7 core classes for 3 divisions.

 

We welcome back the Mini Horses, who joined our series in 2009 our class include Mini Halter, Mini Color classes, Mini Pleasure Driving as well as an Open Mini Horse Trail in hand class.

 

So, for all you Horse lovers out there, mark our dates on your calendars – pack the car, and drive to Belknap County 4H Fair grounds on Mile Hill  Road in Belmont NH and enjoy a day of fun, free entertainment.  There’s a food booth on the grounds, plenty of free parking.
